You are welcome to the month of October 2018. Last month was our month of Open Doors. Many people testified to the glory of God for various open doors. To Him alone be all the glory!!! I would like to especially thank God for preserving everyone’s lives till today. Despite all the plans of the enemies, God still made us escape. “If it has not been God on our side what would Israel say.” (Psalm 124:1). In Isaiah, 61:7 says “for your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion, they shall rejoice in their portion; therefore, in their land they shall possess the double, everlasting joy shall be unto them.”
The prophecy for this month is “Double Portion”. I don’t know how far you have been in the journey of life, I want to declare to you today that you will experience double portion in the name of Jesus. Would you now ask yourself a question, what is double portion?
Double means more beyond ordinary. Double portion means living an exceptional life, operating above ordinary, moving from entry level to managerial, barren before but being fruitful to bear triplet. We could also refer to how Elisha, servant of Elijah, determined to get double portion of anointing from his master. Again, I pray you will never experience any shame anymore in your life.
Last Sunday service, I explain to the congregation how I had experienced shame many years ago. After the U.S economy meltdown, I lost my job and the only source of income was not enough to pay the bills and sustain our family with the newborn baby. One fateful day, my wife went to work. Unaware to both of us, we ran out of Cerelac baby food and the baby got hungry and cried for food. Being as broke as can be, I tried to gather all the coins I had to go to Walmart to buy our baby food. Trying to check out at the register after picking the food, I was short of nine cents and my card was also declined due to insufficient funds. It was a total shame. I asked someone close to give me nine cents but his response was provocative. I was so embarrassed. I pray for everyone reading this newsletter, you will not experience shame in life in Jesus name. For shame, you shall have double.
Brethren, shame and double portion are not the same. You can decide to have double portion or be at the opposite side, the ball is in your court. I will like to introduce my Father and Friend to you, who can end all shames and give you not only double portion, but also everlasting life. John 4:14 says “But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life”. Maybe you do not have a relationship with Jesus, I would like you to know that He will give you an everlasting life with joy, happiness, salvation, healing, prosperity and double portion. Please come to him today, tomorrow may be too late. Draw close to Him and He will draw close to you. Be strong and courageous. Step into this double portion of opportunities, prosperity, spiritual upliftment, fruitfulness, abundance, career advancement, mental wholeness and anointing. God is out to bless you more than you can think or imagine. In this season of Double Portion, may the Lord God bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace in Jesus name. Amen.
