You are welcome to the last month in the year 2018, December. God has been faithful in keeping
His promises of divine protection upon our lives, families and friends. This is a special month to
bless the name of the Lord for His uncountable and immeasurable blessings in the year 2018. All
glory be to His name.
This month has been declared by Prophecy as our month of “Complete Restoration”. Restoration
can be defined, according to the Webster Dictionary, as an act of restoring or the condition of being
restored: like bringing back something that has been destroyed to a former position or condition:
reinstatement; restitution. Biblically, it means to receive back more than has been lost to the point
where the final state is greater than the original condition. The main point is that someone or
something is improved beyond measure. The Lord will improve your life beyond measure this
month in Jesus name. Amen.
In the book of Joel 2: 25-27, God said “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath
eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent
among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your
God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall
know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my
people shall never be ashamed”. I pray that the Lord will restore whatever the locust, cankerworm, and caterpillar have destroyed in your life in Jesus name. Amen
In other to remodel an old house, the old paint has to be removed, power washed, and a primer
paint must be applied before the final coat. As a Christian, for you to receive complete restoration,
some things need to be removed from your life like unbelief, doubts, old attitudes and mindsets
that do not line up with the way God thinks and acts, unhealthy relationships that will hold you
back from receiving complete restoration. After this, the Lord will coat us with layers of grace,
faith, and His Holy Spirit.
Restoration can occur in different areas of a Christian life:
1. Spiritual: The Lord restored falling mankind to fellowship with him through the death of
Jesus Christ. John 10:10. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
I have come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.” Psalms
51:8, 10 “Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than
snow. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
2. Health: Jer. 30:17 “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds,
saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man
seeketh after.”
3. Deliverance: Isaiah 58:6 “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of
wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break
every yoke?”
4. The joy of our salvation: Psalms 51:12-13 “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation;
and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy way; and
sinner shall be converted unto thee.”
5. Finances: Joel 2:25-26 “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the
cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among
you.” And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your
God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.”
As you are starting the month of complete restoration, I pray there will be the fulfillment of God’s
Word in your life. The Word of God in Psalm 126: 1-6 will become your song and testimony in
this month: “When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the
heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them”.
The Lord will change your story. Whatever situation you are passing through now, remember
Matthew 19:26: Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all
things are possible.” So, your situation is not impossible for God to restore to His initial plan of
joy, peace, favor, and blessings. Congratulation for partaking in this month of great potential,
complete fulfillment and restoration in all abundance to the glory of the Lord. Have a Merry
Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Enjoy this season with a heart of gratitude. Looking forward
to a wonderful year, next year. God bless you. SHALOM
