MY MONTH OF GREAT GRACE
You are welcome to the Month of April 2020. The Month full of miracles, testimonies, open
doors, fruitfulness, good surprises and Month of Grace. .Every Christian is saved by Grace. That
was what Paul told the Church in Ephesus as recorded in (Eph.2:8). We all believed as Christians
that we are saved by Grace. No one who is genuinely Born Again can believe otherwise. To do
so will be a grave theological error. Declaring April as our month of “Great Grace” is not a
misnomer. It’s a reminder that our spiritual stewardship, is predicated on ‘Grace” and not on
‘Works.”
When the Bible says we are saved by Grace and not by Works, what does that mean? Paul’s
assertion was that, we weren’t saved by our effort, neither by our ability. Since our salvation
according to Paul was by Grace, our services unto the Lord is also by Grace. Therefore, Grace is
everything to everyone whose faith is in Christ. We did not suddenly get to where we are in
Christ by our works, our looks, our association or by our services. Where we are in our faith
journey and who we are as believers are all by Grace. That’s what Paul advised by saying that….
“let no one boast” (Eph. 2:9).
An average man on the street does not know what Grace means. The unbelievers who have no
relationship with Christ, does not know either. But to us Christians, what does Grace means?
How can believers define this type of Biblical and Theological Term wherever they go? It is not
possible. Our world has become complex and intolerable. What was permissible in the 18 th and
19 th Century is no longer acceptable in the 21 st Century. One may ask, “what has changed”? God
hasn’t because, He can never change neither can His word. We are the ones who have changed.
Mounce’s Expository Bible Dictionary defined Grace as “things which is favorable or gracious,
especially the favorable disposition of one person towards another.” By this definition, Grace
means an undeserving favor and goodness showed by someone to another who does not deserve
it. In the Bible, Mary found favor in the sight of God. She was chosen to be the vessel by which
the savior of the World would be born (Lk. 1:30). Everyone who has found favor in the eyes of
God has become an instrument of blessing. This month of Great Grace be an instrument of His
blessings.
Everyone who is highly favored of God is a potential to be used of God. In this month of Great
Grace, avail yourself to be used of God. Mary fulfilled a purpose because she was highly favored
of God. Jesus came to the World to fulfill the mission of the father. His mission was an
appearance of “grace and truth.” In this month of Great Grace, discover your mission and pursue
your vision.
To every Christian, Paul was a mentor and a model. He suggested to the Church in Rome that
they cannot continue in sin and expect the Grace to abound (Rom. 6:1). Likewise, in this month
of Great Grace, don’t indulge in sins and expect Grace to abound. Be the definition of Grace
wherever you go and whatever you do. You and I are the Living Word that is being read daily.
Be God’s Epistle this month and let the world found Grace in who you are and in what you do.
In this season of “Great Grace” may the lord bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine
upon you and be gracious unto you and lift up his countenance upon you and give you all round
peace in Jesus name. Amen.
Welcome to April 2020, the month of “Great Grace” and remain in the atmosphere of miracle.
We love you and we are praying for you!
Shalom!
