JEHOVAH SABAOTH (LORD OF HOST)
You are welcome to the second month of 2025. Thank God for seeing us through the first month of the
year. Thank God for His faithfulness towards His church. His name be praised forever in Jesus’ name –
amen.
February is our month of Jehovah Sabaoth. It is also our 8th anniversary. How the Lord has been faithful
and kind! The church is matching on. We thank God for the RCCG House of Prayer as a whole. We thank
Him for everyone He has added to us from the first opening day of this church to this very moment. We do
not take that for granted. Thank You, Lord. Thinking about how far we have come, one verse comes to
mind: The Lord has helped RCCG House of Prayer through the storm and the wind. Thank You, Lord, for
always helping and giving us a way out.
The Lord will continually help us as a church and individuals in Jesus’ name – amen. A lot of fear in our
country, states, family, and the world this day. I come to announce that fear not, the Lord of the Host is in
control.
Jehovah Sabaoth, our prophecy, means the Lord of the Host. 1 Samuel 17:45 says, “David said to the
Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of
the Lord of Host, whom you have defied.” My God will defend you and fight your battle in this month in
Jesus mighty name. Say to someone “That will be your testimony – the Lord of Host will secure you and
grant your heart’s desire”.
Jehovah Sabaoth as said earlier means the Lord of Host. Jesus Christ is our Jehovah Sabaoth, and He is our
strength and comforter at all times. The Lord of Host has been mentioned in the Bible for over two thousand
years. The Lord of Host can be referred to as a mighty warrior who defends his own. David was confronted
with the greatest enemy and test of his life, Goliath. However, his confidence came from Jehovah Sabaoth,
the Lord of the Host. Through that confidence, he was able to demonstrate to Goliath that he did not have
any power, but he trusted in the Lord of Host and he was able to defect his enemy.
Who is that enemy that is currently tormenting you? The Lord of Host will defend you and fight your battle.
The Lord of Host is also your security – He always protects you as stated in the book of Psalms 91:1-2 “He
who dwells in the shelter of the highest will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is
my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Regardless of whatever is going on around the world,
my God will be your refuge and fortress.
Short story on how God has been my Jehovah Sabaoth: Many years ago, I used to work in a Coca Cola
bottling Company in Nigeria. I loved what I did and how much I made, however, a goliath tormented me.
This man was higher in rank and older than I was, and he was always oppressing me. There could tons of
empty spaces in a bus and he would still walk up to me to get up from my seat. Life was miserable for me;
I was afraid to go to work; I was a Christian and did not want to prove a nuisance in the work environment.
These torments continued until one day—that day of your victory is today in Jesus’ mighty name – amen. I
did not know all my managers were watching, but they wanted me to deliver myself. One faithful day, I
was working the night shift, and it was time for my break and dinner. I was going to eat at the staff canteen.
He followed me and was chasing and running after me. After a few minutes of running, I turned toward
him to ask what? Before you know it, I picked him up and put him on the floor, and he asked for help and
forgiveness. All my managers were shouting go, Daramola. That gave me victory over my goliath. I am
praying for you as you go this month; Jehovah Sabaoth will fight all your battles.
What are you struggling with? Is it your marriage, career, ministry, health, immigration, or finances?
Believe in the Lord of Host. Like Peter, who listened to Jesus and cast down his net, you can experience a
breakthrough by believing in the Lord of Host. The grace to believe in Jehovah Sabaoth, receive it in Jesus’
mighty name, amen.
Most importantly, to believe in Jehovah Sabaoth totally, you must accept Jesus as your Lord and personal
Savior. Please come to him today; tomorrow may be too late. Draw close to Him, and He will draw close
to you. In this month of Sabaoth, be strong and courageous. Walk in the prophecy of this month and year
by faith. Knowing that no one can stand against you if God is for you.
In this season of Jehovah Sabaoth, may the Lord bless and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you
and be gracious unto you and lift His countenance upon you and give you peace in Jesus’ name. Amen.
As you continue in the cause of the year, I pray the covering of God for you and your household. As the
Lord was a pillar of cloud by day to the Israelites and a pillar of fire by night, He will be your pillar and
covering. The enemy will not be able to reach you in Jesus’ name. Walk in the healing power of God. God
bless you.
Happy New Month and remain in the atmosphere of miracles.
