Welcome to the month of August, the 8th month in the year 2018.  We give thanks to the Almighty God for His loving kindness and tender mercies towards us. This is our month of ‘MORE THAN ENOUGH’.  It is my prayer that the God of more than enough will visit you this month in Jesus name – Amen!

‘The lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children‘– Psalm 115 verse 14.

This is my prayer to everyone and their household in Jesus name. Amen

Overtimes, the phrase ‘More than enough’ has been used in different terms and situations but have we asked ourselves what this phrase really connotes?

According to Dictionary.com, it is defined as ‘superfluous, surplus, or in excessive”. Therefore, one can apparently say that, having more than enough implies God making surpluses available for you and your family.

Consciously or unconsciously, we have all experienced “more than enough” from God in the years past and even in this year. Believe me or not, you have experience more than enough from God this year alone. For example, sleeping and waking daily without complications is one of God’s more than enough blessings as seen in Psalm 3 vs 5:

‘I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.’

As a Christian, we could demonstrate more than enough in many areas, one of these areas may be in demonstrating love to our spouses and children by showing kindness, forgiveness, supports and motivations.

In 2 Kings 4:1, the Bible talks about a certain hopeless woman:

Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. 2 kings 4 verse 1.

The story of this woman was very sad and a few of us may have similar stories due to unpleasant circumstances like unemployment, location or status that limit your blessings. You might be experiencing severe shortage and insufficiencies. I pray from today, you will no longer tell stories of Insufficiencies, but you will share testimonies of More Than Enough in Jesus Name. Amens

THINGS THAT CAN DENY YOU ACCESS TO MORE THAN ENOUGH

1.Sin – Romans 6 verse 23

  1. Laziness – 2 Thessalonians 3 verse 10

3.Faithlessness – Hebrew 11 verse 6

4.Double mindedness – James 1 verse 8

  1. Prayerlessness – Luke 18 verse 1

HOW TO ENJOY MORE THAN ENOUGH FROM THE GOD

1.Believe in the Lord Jesus – Act 16 verse 31

  1. Develop a strong faith in God – Hebrew 11 verse 1

3.Make it a goal to live a life of enough – Philippian 3 verse 14

  1. Hold unto the promise of God for your life – Galatian 3 verse 16
  2. Prayer can be a step into your more than enough- Act 6 verse 4
  3. Engage in endless praise and worship – Psalms 100 verse 4

In conclusion, God is wonderful, merciful, kind, lovely and compassionate to give to us everything we desire. Unfortunately, our sin and unfaithful attitude has separated us from God. Decide in your heart today to leave your former life of sin behind and embrace the new life of more than enough that Jesus has promise us. Husbands and wives, how faithful are you to each other before praying for God’s more than enough? As a worker, how faithful are you in tithing and God’s service? Before you ask for more than enough, it is important to evaluate yourself. The Bible says: Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap (Galatian 6:7). I pray that God will open your eyes of understanding to see what He has for you in glory. To all celebrating their Birthdays and Wedding Anniversaries, this month, and also to Oluwatimilehin Lasisi, I pray that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Amen.

Welcome to the Month of “More Than Enough.”
