MY MONTH OF ABUNDANCE OF RAIN
You are welcome to July 2025, the seventh month in the year 2025. The number seven means
perfection, I pray the Lord will perfect all that concerns you in Jesus’ name. This is our month of
“Abundance of Rain”. In this month of abundance of rain, may the Lord bless you, keep you, and
cause you to experience blessings of rain in Jesus’ mighty name. In this month of July, may the
Lord fight all your battles and give you all-round peace in Jesus’ name – amen!
We thank God for the month of June, the month of restoration. Thank God for the success of the
anointing service – there were healings, deliverances and recovery of lost glories from the enemy’s
camp. This was possible because the Lord of Restoration was at work. I want to take this
opportunity to express my appreciation to the men of valor for taking care of church’s lawn by
cutting the grass and doing all the yard work. My God will surprise you with a good gift in Jesus’
name – amen. We would like to thank all those who have supported the carpet installation in the
church auditorium – we appreciate your generosity and support. May the Lord bless you all, the
HOP family richly in Jesus’ name – amen. Lastly, I want to thank God for all the testimonies
received and shared last month. To Him be all the glory!
The prophecy for July is our month of abundance of rain. 1 Kings 18:41 says, “The prophet Elijah
tells King Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain”. I pray you all
experience an abundance of rain in the name of Jesus Christ – amen.
WHAT IS THE ABUNDANCE OF RAIN?
Abundance of rain is the release of God’s blessing upon mankind. Rain could also mean abundance
of God’s miracles, signs, wonders which people enjoy from God. Abundance of rain means a large
quantity of rainfall, a large amount or more than enough. It is a positive thing – it signifies
fruitfulness, God’s blessings and provision.
In 1 Kings 18, there had been no rain for 3 years in the land of Samaria. There was famine and
drought, the people were hungry. Elisha prayed for rain and there was abundance of rain and the
whole nation was happy. This is a good example of abundance of rain.
Even though abundance of rain is a good thing, there was a time where it was meant for destruction.
During the time of Noah, God sent rain and flood to wipe away the rebellious people as seen in
Genesis 7:1-16. I pray none of us will experience the wrath of God in Jesus name – amen!
IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE RAIN, YOU MUST BE READY:
- Sow seeds that provoke an abundance of rain. Galatians 6:7-9
- Run away from sin. Number 32:23
- Avoid blocking the lifting of others. 2 Kings 7:2
- Avoid lies like Ananias and Sapphira who obstructed their abundant rain Acts 5:1-11
- Avoid greed. Gehazi was denied an abundance of rain due to greed. 2 Kings 5:27
HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR AN ABUNDANCE OF RAIN - You must be born again and be a child of God. John 1:12
- Be diligent and obey God. Deut. 28:1
- Always praise God. 1 Peter 2:9
- Live a life of holiness. Isaiah 3:10
- Live a life of obedience. Job 36:11
- Live by the word. Psalm 1:1-4
In conclusion, to experience an abundance of rain, you must make Jesus as your Lord and personal
Savior. Believe in God’s ability to give you an abundance of rain as you go through July. Beloved
without Jesus, there is no abundance of rain. Come back to Jesus today; tomorrow may be too late.
Draw close to him, and He will draw close to you.
As we step into the prophecy of July 2025, walk hand in hand with God to swim in the abundance
of rain. God is out there to bless you more than you think or imagine. In this month and season of
abundance of rain, may the Lord bless and keep you, and cause His face to shine upon you, be
gracious unto you, lift His countenance upon you, and give you peace in Jesus’ mighty name –
amen!
