You are welcome to the month of June 2019. Last month was our month of Divine Grace which
was also our family Month. We give all glory to God for the success of family Month, to him alone be all the glory. Many people testified to the glory of God for various open doors. To Him alone be all the glory!!! I would like to especially thank God for preserving everyone’s lives until today. Despite all the plans of the enemies, God still made us escape. “If it has not been God on
our side what would Israel say.” (Psalm 124:1). In 1 Samuel 30 verse 8 says “So David inquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them? And He answered him,
pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail to recover all”
The prophecy for this month is “Overtake”. I don’t know what you might have lost in the journey of life, I want to declare to you today that you will recover everything in the name of Jesus.
Would you now ask yourself a question, what it means to overtake?
Overtake literarily means to go past something by being a greater amount or degree, to come from behind. Pursue: To proceed along, follow or continue with a specified course of action or a
plan. To strive for, to seek after. Overtake: To catch up with and pass by. Recover: To get back,
to regain, to restore, to procure from something unusable something valuable. To bring under observation again We could also refer to how Elijah, servant of the living God who overtook jezebel during his warfare with the king ‘s wife. I pray you will overtake all the enemies of your life in Jesus name.
You may be reading this Newsletter right now and you are thinking it is over for you due to your
current challenges, I have good news for you, my God will recover all your losses to you in Jesus
name.
Having wandered into enemy territory and following his own strategic designs, David found himself overtaken by fierce warriors – the Amalekites. Defeated and despairing, in desperation, he went to his Father for encouragement and strength. But David didn’t just say to God, “Encourage
me so I can do more of the same.” David recognized that a different hand needed to be at the helm of his life, so he didn’t continue barreling ahead on his own. Before David made his own decisions about how to proceed against the Amalekites, he went to the priest and asked for the ephod which God used to communicate His will. We read in our texts today that when David asked God how he should proceed in his life, God gave David three distinct pieces of advice when dealing with the enemy. And I might add, this advice is sound in helping us deal with any enemy that could potentially bring us down spiritually, emotionally and physically. Please come to him today, tomorrow may be too late. Draw close to Him and He will draw close to you. Be strong and courageous. Step into the prophecy of this month by faith. God is out to bless you more than you can think or imagine. In this season of “overtake” may the Lord God bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace in Jesus name. Amen.
Welcome into the month June “Overtake” and remain in the atmosphere of miracle.
