After going through the month of abundance, it is a pleasure to welcome you into the month of Open Doors. We pray that as you step into the month of Open Doors, the abundance of God will continually flow into all the doors God has opened for you in Jesus name.
We would like to thank God for His faithfulness in the past eight months because none of us is oblivious of His kindness. And so, we collectively say “Thank You, God for being so gracious”.
The month of September is the month of Open Doors. Open Door is not a new phrase to any of us. Doors lead to a place. A door can be a blockage or form of security to guide and protect an asset or things behind the door. A door is usually used to guide something of great value. You never see a door in a place where there is nothing important to guide. An Open Door gives access to things behind the door which are usually of great value. Spiritually, when we say Open Doors, we mean gaining access to great opportunities, priceless values or even lift-changing breakthroughs. When you experience open doors, your life changes for the better. I pray that we will all experience this in Jesus name. Amen.
The first time we hear of door in the Bible was when God shut the door of the ark behind Noah to protect the last surviving humans and living creatures on the earth to save humanity. The Bible said God shut the door till the flood was over to keep mankind. God shut the door to keep them from danger and when God finally opened the door of the ark, the entire mankind, humanity and existence of living creature was saved. Doors can also be a means of protection.
I am pleased to inform you that God is still able to Open doors in this age as seen in Revelation 3:7-8:
7. And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; 8. I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
When God opens a door, no one can shut it. Is not it wonderful to know that our Father has the key that opens doors and more importantly, He has set these open doors before us and not man can shut it. Not even the devil. Would you just give God praise for this assurance of open doors? Hallelujah!!! God will open doors for us regardless of our strength as long as we remain in Him.
God can open doors in different areas of life. These areas include financially, academically, health-wise, career-wise and even spiritually. When God opens doors financially, you will lend unto many nations and you will not lack. Deut. 28:12. When He opens door academically, you will experience excellence and great success. Daniel 1:17. When God opens door spiritually, He reveals deep and secret things to you and gives you access to classified information. Daniel 2:22, Jeremiah 33:3b. When God opens door in career, you will be the head. Daniel 6:3, Genesis 41:41. When God opens door in health, you will operate in divine heath of God and never fall sick. Exodus 23:25
When God opens doors for you, you become undefeated, victorious and a voice in your generation like Daniel and Joseph. Daniel 6:3, Gen 41:41. He will also wipe away your tears and gives you everlasting and unspeakable joy. I pray that the Lord God will open doors in all aspect of life beyond your imaginations in Jesus name. Amen.
It is great to know that God can open doors and no one on earth, underneath the earth or in heaven can shut it. However, the latter part says that God shuts doors as well and no one can open. Oh yes!!! God can shut doors, and no one will dare to open it. Isa 43:13, Isaiah 14: 27; “For the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?”. Now, you are wondering why God would want to shut doors. Here are few reasons why God can shut doors.
1. Sin. 1 Samuel 15: 26
2. Unforgiveness. Job 42: 10
3. Pride. Daniel 4:30-37
4. Unbelief. Isaiah 7:9
It is very important to make sure that you never get into a position that forces God to close doors toward you because when He closes it no man can open it. Furthermore, it is important to know that for every door God opens, there is always an adversary like Paul said in 1 Corinthians 16:9 (KJV): For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
Have you ever heard the saying: “New Level, New Devil”. Every time God opens a great door for you, the devil is unhappy, and he tries so hard to make sure that you never enjoy the open door. However, I am pleased to inform you that no matter the adversaries that come with the open door, God can and will see you through. He has given you the anointing and grace to trample on the devil and adversaries. Luke 10:19, Joshua 1:5-9. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid. For God will neither leave you nor forsake you. God will be with you wherever you go. Step into the new open doors of opportunities, prosperity, spiritual upliftment, fruitfulness, abundance, career advancement, mental wholeness with authority and confidence because God is with you. May the Lord God bless you, keep you, cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace in this Month of Open Doors in Jesus name.
