You are welcome to the month of September 2023 – our month of “divine favor”. In this month of
Divine Favor, you will be a product of divine favor in the name of Jesus Christ – amen!
August, our month of Perfect Peace, was a glorious month. This is our testimony “If it had not
been the Lord who was on our side, now may the RCCG House of Prayer say – Psalm 124:1.” We
want to thank God for all the victories, testimony, and peace we enjoyed in the month of August.
We thank God for answers to our prayers: the arrival of Bro. Femi Alla, the success of the anointing
service and all the testimonies from the service. To God alone be all the glory. Praises shall never
cease in your life in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
The prophesy for this month of September is our month of Divine Favor. God is saying to you in
Psalm 5:12 “For thou, Lord wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a
shield.” God will bless you and encompass you with a shield in this month in Jesus’ name – amen.
Beloved, you do not need everyone to help you. All you need is a touch of divine favor. When you
are divinely favored, you have all the help you need.
WHAT IS FAVOR?
Favor is an approval or support of someone or something. Favor is preference for someone or
something above others. It means to be served first when it wouldn’t go round or when it is not
your turn. Favor puts you in front of the line when you’re not qualified. Favor is not a feeling and
cannot be earned. Favor is when someone goes out of their way to help you. It means to experience
a wonderful change that cannot be described. Esther, Mary, Elizabeth, Mary the mother of Jesus,
Mephibosheth and Mordecai experienced favor in the Bible.
Looking at the story of Mordecai in Esther 6, one night the king could not sleep because God was
about the favor someone (Mordecai). God is able to interrupt people’s schedule to favor you.
WHAT BROUGHT ABOUT MORDECAI’S DIVINE FAVOR?
• Mordecai was a responsible man. Esther 2:11: “And Mordecai walked every day before the
court of the women’s house, to know how Esther did, and what should become of her.”
• Mordecai cared for others.
• Mordecai was humble before God and man.
• Mordecai was loyal to God, the king, and the kingdom.
• Mordecai was content in God. 1 Timothy 6:6: “Now godliness with contentment is great
gain.”
• Mordecai feared the Lord. Psalm 25:12: “Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall
he teach in the way that he shall choose.”
• Mordecai was a man of prayer. Phil. 4:6: “Be careful about nothing: but in everything by
prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto him.”
• Mordecai obeyed the law of the Lord. Lev. 26: 4-5: “If you walk in my statutes and keep
my commandments, and perform them, then I will give you rain in due season, and the
Land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.”
• Mordecai loved to serve the Lord. Job. 36:11: “If they obey and serve Him (GOD), they
shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.”
• Mordecai develop a strong faith in God.

In conclusion, we all know life isn’t fair, especially in a time when darkness and wickedness are
eminent in all our societies. Hatred on the highest level, wickedness from everywhere. However,
God is about to announce you for divine favor because Jesus Christ is the only source of life.
Without Jesus, there is no divine favor. You might be going through one warfare of life or another.
