MY MONTH OF ABUNDANCE

Welcome to the last quarter of 2022 and to the month of September! This is going to be a month
of breaking forth and breakthroughs for us all in Jesus’ name – Amen. The month of August was
our month of Jubilee. This church family experienced a lot of jubilations, last month. We had our
8-hours all nation praise where we worshipped and praised our mighty God. Just when we
thought we had seen all of God’s faithfulness, then God did it again. The RCCG House of Prayer
moved to her permanent location in Bloomington. When men said there was a casting down, we
said there shall be a lifting up. The Heavens are indeed open upon us all. God alone is deserving
of all the glory. Hallelujah!
We would like to congratulate everyone who graduated from the Workers-In-Training class –
Elder Florence Wanda, Bro. Eric Chia, Sis. Anne Marie Nfon and Sis. Alvine! We pray for
God’s grace upon your lives as you serve the Lord in Jesus’ name. Amen
By prophecy, September is “our month of Abundance”. 2 Corinthians 9:8 says, “And God is able
to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may
abound to every good work.” The reality of life is that we all have gone or are going through
unpleasant situations. Life can hit you hard in places it hurts the most and some are worse than
others. Whatever it might be, the predicaments of life can make you feel forgotten. It can push
you to want to quit on yourself and on God. Worse, it can even make you question your faith.
Fortunately, I am here to tell you, that whatever situation you might be faced with, is coming to
an end in Jesus’ name. I decree that it is your season of abundance in Jesus’ name – Amen.
Abundance is what God stands for. Abundance is who God is. Psalm 50:10 -11 (KJV) says, “For
every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the
mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.” Psalm 24: 1-2 “The earth is the Lord’s, and
the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas
and established it upon the floods.” God owns it all. God is not limited in supply. He has all that
we need.
To possess God’s abundance starts with a step. I would like to introduce to you the first step that
would lead you into your abundance. This step is to seek first the Kingdom of God and its
righteousness – Matthew 6:33.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO LIVE IN ABUNDANCE IN JESUS?
- It means living to please Him in our highest level – Col. 1:10
- It means believing in Him alone – Exo. 20:3
- It means dwelling in the word of God – 2 Tim. 2:15
- It means using your God’s giving gift to serve him – 1 Cor.11:1
- It means knowing where our treasure is. – Matt.6:19-20
- It means choosing to live for Jesus instead of ourselves – Luke 9:23
WHY MUST WE SEEK THE KINGDOM OF GOD?
- There is time for everything – Eccl. 3:1-8
- You must seek the kingdom because abundance is one of the redemption package Matt. 6
25- 34 - Kingdom is the only hope that will usher us into abundance – 1 Peter 2:11
- Putting Jesus Christ first guarantees you abundance – Col. 3:16
- Seeking the kingdom first not only give your earthly abundance but also assure you
heavenly rewards.
How can we seek the kingdom and his righteousness in other to attain abundance? - Subject yourself to the things of the Spirit – Galatians 5:22-23
- Forget your past hurt and unforgiveness- Hebrews 12:1-2
- Run the race with patience – 2 Timothy 4:6-8
- Go out and evangelize to lost soul – Mark 16:15
- Seek the kingdom by helping other that are in need- Matthew 25: 35-40
- Seek the kingdom by your service – Job 36:11
- Seek the kingdom by your giving- Proverb 3:9
WHAT WOULD BE OUR GAIN BY SEEKING HIS KINGDOM?
- A great house awaits you. – I John 14:3
- Heavenly rewards await you.
- Crown of glory awaits you -1 Corinthian 9:25-27, 1 Peter 5:4
- The Crown of rejoicing- 1 Thess. 2:19
- Crown of Righteousness – 2Tim. 4:8
- Crown of life – James 1:12, Revelation 2:10
WHAT OTHER THINGS (ABUNDANCE) SHALL BE ADDED TO US WHEN WE SEEK
THE KINGDOM?
- Happy marriage
- Good jobs and career
- Wonderful family
- Long life. Psalm 91:16
- Good health. Deut. 7:15
- Contentment and satisfaction – Psalm 103:5
- You will experiment uninterrupted joy and peace of mind- Phil. 4:7
- You will fulfil in abundance- Psalms 145:19
Walking and enjoying God’s abundance is only possible by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord
and personal Savior. Come to Jesus today, tomorrow may be too late. Let Him take your hand
and lead you through the everlasting way. Let Jesus carry your burdens and exchange every
heaviness for gladness. Walk with God and He will give you the desires of your heart. Step into
the prophecy of this month of September by faith. God’s blessing and abundance is upon your
life in Jesus’ name. As you continue in this month of Abundance, I send you forth with these
words and prayers in Phil. 4:19, my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in
glory by Christ Jesus in Jesus name. Amen.
