October 2026 Trumpet- My Month to Smile

Welcome to October 2026, our Month to Smile! As we step into this new month, may the Lord
bless you with good health, financial breakthroughs, fruitfulness, immigration settlement, career
advancement, restored opportunities, freedom from debt, timely help, unprecedented prosperity,
victory in every pending battle, and the miracles your heart desires, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
May the Lord defend you against every challenge, give you reasons to smile at home and wherever
you go, and reveal His goodness to you in a new way. Amen.
We thank God for carrying us through September 2026. He renewed our hope, opened new doors,
and poured out extraordinary blessings, mercy, and miracles upon His Church. Our September
Anointing and Holy Ghost Service, “Morning Cometh,” rekindled the faith of HOP families who
had been struggling through the storms of life. We also give God all the glory for our members
who recently graduated from college. May each graduate experience divine settlement in this new
season.
By prophetic declaration, October is our Month to Smile. May the Lord visit you throughout
October and beyond, give you many reasons to smile, and fill your life with joy, in the name of
Jesus Christ. Amen.
The psalmist declares, “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my
mouth” (Psalm 34:1, KJV). He also writes, “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor
is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning” (Psalm 30:5, KJV). May
you and your family experience unprecedented laughter this October. May the Lord remove your
name from every system of weeping the enemy has established and replace your sorrow with
smiles in Jesus’ name. Amen!
THE ONE BEHIND THE SMILE
Today, I want to introduce you to the One behind the smile: Jesus Christ. Knowing Him personally
is essential. In John 3, a man named Nicodemus came to Jesus by night. He was knowledgeable,
respected, and influential, yet he sensed that something was missing from his life and recognized
his need for Christ. He came in the dark, but his story reminds us that night does not last forever.

  • There is something about morning.
  • Morning announces that darkness did not win.
  • Morning declares that the night had a limit.
  • Morning reminds us that what was dark can become light, what was hidden can be revealed,
and what looked hopeless can begin again.
  • You may be weeping tonight, but joy is still on the way.
  • You may be carrying pain, but joy is still on the way.
  • You may not understand everything God is doing, but joy is still on the way.
  • You may be under conviction, but conviction can become the doorway to morning when it
    leads you back to God.
Throughout this message, the smile represents the visible expression of the joy, hope, and new life
God gives through Jesus Christ. When we connect this truth to the necessity of being born again,
we discover something powerful: salvation is a spiritual morning.
Before Christ, we lived in darkness. Through the new birth, God calls us “out of darkness into his
marvellous light” (1 Peter 2:9). Being born again is not simply joining a church, becoming more
religious, turning over a new leaf, or trying harder to improve yourself. Jesus said:
“Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
    (John 3:3)
The new birth is necessary because God is not patching up the old life; He is giving us a brand
new life. Consider these four truths:
  1. Sin Produced the Night
  • Before we can appreciate the joy of morning, we must understand the darkness of the night.
  • Sin separated humanity from God and brought guilt, condemnation, bondage, spiritual
death, and darkness into the human story.
  • That is why we need regeneration.
  • You can educate the old nature, but education alone cannot make the heart new.
  • You can discipline the flesh, but discipline alone cannot produce the new birth.
  • You can become religious and still need to be born again.
Nicodemus proves this. He was religious. He was educated. He was respected. He knew the
Scriptures. Yet Jesus looked at this religious leader and told him, “Ye must be born again” (John
    3:7).
  • Religion cannot substitute for regeneration.
  • Church membership cannot substitute for regeneration.
  • Only a new birth can produce a new life.
  1. Jesus Entered Our Night
Here is the good news of salvation: God did not leave humanity in darkness. Jesus Christ came
into our night. John 1:4–5 says:
“In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the
    darkness comprehended it not.”
Jesus stepped into a world darkened by sin.
  • He reached out to people others had pushed aside.
  • He forgave those burdened by sin and shame.
  • He restored the broken and gave hope to the forgotten.
  • He opened blind eyes and delivered those who were bound.
  • Then He went to Calvary.
  • At Calvary, He carried our sin, our shame, and our judgment.
  • He died in our place.
  • As He hung on the cross, darkness covered the land.
But Calvary reminds us that when God is at work, darkness is never the end.
Then Sunday morning came! The stone was rolled away. The tomb was empty. Death was
defeated. Jesus Christ rose with all power. The resurrection declares:
    Joy cometh in the morning!
Because Jesus lives, every believer has a reason to rejoice. His resurrection turns spiritual night
into morning and gives us a hope that places a genuine smile on our faces, even before our
    circumstances change.
  1. The New Birth Is Your Spiritual Morning
When Jesus told Nicodemus he must be born again, He was describing a spiritual transformation.
    John 3:5 says:
“Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”
The new birth is not a cosmetic improvement. It is a spiritual transformation. Second Corinthians
    5:17 declares:
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all
    things are become new.”
That sounds like morning! Yesterday no longer has the right to control today. Your past does not
have to dictate your future, and the darkness you came from does not define the life God is calling
    you into.
When God saves a person, He does something supernatural:
  • The sinner receives forgiveness.
  • The condemned person receives mercy.
  • The spiritually dead person receives life.
  • The captive receives freedom.
  • The lost person is found.
  • The alienated person is reconciled to God.
The old passes away, and something new begins. That is why salvation produces joy.
  1. The Joy of Salvation Is Greater Than Temporary Happiness
There is a difference between temporary happiness and spiritual joy. Happiness rises and falls with
what is happening around us. Joy is rooted in who God is and what He has done. A smile built
only on favorable circumstances fades when conditions change, but a smile that flows from
    salvation endures.
You can have joy while tears are still falling. You can have joy before your circumstances change.
You can have joy before every prayer has been answered.
Why? Because through Jesus Christ, the believer’s greatest need has already been met. In Him,
our sins are forgiven, our relationship with God is restored, our names are written in heaven, and
eternal life is ours. This is why David prayed in Psalm 51:12:
“Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation.”
    There is joy in knowing:
  • I have been forgiven.
  • I have been redeemed.
  • I belong to Jesus.
  • My past is under the blood.
  • My life has purpose.
  • My future is in God’s hands.
  • Death does not have the final word.
That is the joy of salvation.
    A NEW SEASON OF SMILES
Life can feel difficult, especially when situations remain unexplained and storms disrupt our
homes, communities, and nations. Many people are searching for happiness while fear, disorder,
and wickedness increase. Yet these realities do not have the final word. In Christ, we can remain
steadfast, pursue the purpose God has prepared for us, and smile with confidence, because our
    hope is anchored in Him.
Jesus Christ has already won the ultimate victory, and He is leading you into victory. True and
lasting joy is found in Him. Whatever storm you are facing, remember that Jesus is the source of
our smiles and our everlasting joy. Today He is calling you from sorrow into gladness, from
heaviness into praise, and from tears into a new season of smiles.
If your heart has drifted toward the things of this world, now is the time to repent and return to
God. “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you” (James 4:8). As you return to His
presence, may He restore the joy of your salvation and put a new smile on your face.
As we enter October, walk hand in hand with God and expect moments of divine joy. May your
smile become a testimony that God has remembered you, answered your prayers, restored you,
and turned your mourning into dancing. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that
you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Throughout this month, may your home be filled with smiles,
your family surrounded by joy, your work crowned with favor, and every answer you have waited
for bring laughter to your lips.
In this season of smiles, may the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon
you and be gracious unto you; may He lift up His countenance upon you, fill your heart with joy,
and give you countless reasons to smile. May October 2026 bring visible evidence of God’s
goodness, undeniable testimonies, and renewed hope. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Welcome to October 2026, our Month to Smile!
We joyfully celebrate everyone marking a birthday or wedding anniversary in October. We love
you, and we are praying for you. May this special month fill your heart with joy, surround you
with miracles, and give you many beautiful reasons to smile!
