AUGUST, MY MONTH OF JUBILEE!
by Pastor Olusogo Daramola

You are welcome to the month of August, the eight month of the year 2022! In this month, you
will experience special miracles and irreversible jubilee in Jesus’ mighty name. Last month was
our month of “Lifting Up”. The House of Prayer family experienced God’s lifting indeed. We had
a lot of testimonies in regard to God’s goodness, new jobs, career advancements, anniversaries,
family reunion, immigration breakthroughs and many more. The children also had a marvelous
time in the Presence of God during the annual children’s week. It is remarkable to see how our
children have grown. We commend Emma Mukete, Joshua Daramola, Adeolu Adesanya and
Esther Daramola for being able to recite the Bible chapters correctly from Genesis to Revelation.
God is really doing great things in the lives of our children, and it is marvelous in our eyes.
Once again, it is a great honor to welcome you into this new month. Despite the economy crisis
and price rises, God made a way for all of us. We serve a mighty God. He has been our source of
living and He continually will be. This month shall be a season of Jubilee for you in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
The prophecy for the month of August is our month of “Jubilee”. Leviticus 25:10 says “And ye
shall hallow the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants
thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye
shall return every man unto his family.” I do not know what life predicament you might be in, but
I have great news for you – “God is not unaware. God knows.”. I declare to you today; it is time
for Jubilee! This is your season of Jubilee in the name of Jesus Christ! If you believe it, shout a
victory halleluyah!

WHAT IS JUBILEE?

• Jubilee means freedom.
• Jubilee means celebration or achievement of any form.
• Jubilee for any nation is to be free from economy meltdown and freedom from external debt.
• Jubilee for an individual means when a long awaiting breakthrough finally comes.
• Jubilee could also mean God dealing with your enemies of your promotion.
• Jubilee could mean when suffering turns to delight and joy.

• Jubilee means to be freed from prison.
• Jubilee means to be free from slavery and to dominate over your task master.
• Jubilee means lifting any hold and exchange with promotion.
• Jubilee means deliverance from wickedness to liberation.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ARE IN YOUR SEASON OF JUBILEE?

  1. When you are in the season of your jubilee, scarcity becomes plenty. 2 Kings 7:1-16
  2. When you are in your season of jubilee, your task master will begin to fight themselves. 1
    Kings 18:1-28.
  3. When your time of jubilee comes, favor begins to look for you. 2: Kings 9:1
  4. Jubilee indicates open doors; opportunities begin to look for you. Esther 8:1-10

HOW DO YOU EXPERIENCE JUBILEE?

  1. Seek for the author of jubilee. Isaiah 55:6-7
  2. Be ready to deal with your mountains. Isaiah 40:4
  3. Trust in the Lord for your jubilee. Psalms 125:1
  4. Stay away from sin- Psalms 34:15
Jubilee is essential in the life of every believer. John 8:36 says “If the Son therefore shall make
you free, ye shall be free indeed. Jesus has set us free from the power of bondage and the enemy.
To accept this liberty and the power of Jubilee, you must accept Jesus as your Lord and your
personal Savior. Please, come to Him today, tomorrow may be too late. Draw close to Him and
He will draw close to you.
As you continue in this month of Jubilee, walk and work in the atmosphere of liberty. This is the
assurance that we have in Jesus Christ. No power of hell and no scheme of man can ever pluck
you from His hands. You are victorious over every plan of the enemy in the name of Jesus. I decree
joy, freedom, and power on your life in this month in Jesus’ name. Amen. Remain in the
    atmosphere of miracles.
