You are welcome to the month of August 2023 – our month of “Perfect Peace”. My prayer for you
in this month is that you will experience perfect peace in every area of your life in Jesus’ name –
amen!
Last month was our month of “Undeniable Victory”. Thank God for all the victories we enjoyed
in the month of July. Thank God for journey mercies for everyone who traveled nationally and
internationally. Thank God for the success of our annual family picnic. Congratulations to the
House of Glory (Blue House) for becoming the champion at this year’s picnic activities – taken
over Green House who were champions last year.
I’d also like to welcome everyone to our annual All-Nations Praise. God has been good and my
prayer for you is that praises shall never cease in your life in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
WHAT IS PERFECT PEACE?
The prophesy for this month “Perfect Peace” is from Isaiah 26:3 “Thou wilt keep him in perfect
peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusted in thee.” Perfect peace means to have
whole or complete peace. It means to enjoy uninterrupted happiness and rest of mind where distress
and disharmony would be evaporated. The opposite of distress is peace and the only person that
can give you that peace is Jesus Christ. God was speaking through Prophet Isaiah “you will keep
him in perfect peace” meaning God’s promise for believers is to have perfect peace available for
all of us.
Fear is one of the enemies of perfect peace. Fear can truncate perfect peace. However, I have good
news – 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear: but of power, and of love,
and of a sound mind.” We cannot be bonded by fear.
DEFINITION OF FEAR
According to Google, fear is an unpleasant feeling triggered by the perception of danger, real or
imagined. The effect of fear is to create more failures and lead us back to barbaric plans and
outdated solution. Someone once said ignorant is the parent of fear. Being oblivious to the truth of
Christ allows fear to creep in. In order to prevail over fear, we must walk in the knowledge of the
truth of love, Power of God, and sound mind.
TYPE OF FEAR

1. Fear of the people. Proverb 29:25, 1 Samuel 13:11
2. Fear of bills or rent. Phil. 2:19
3. Fear of current world economic meltdown. Isaiah 41:10
4. Fear of sickness and diseases. Deut. 7:10
5. Fear of current situation. Isaiah 43
6. Fear of loneliness. Joshua 1:9
7. Fear of bad news. Psalm 23:1
8. Fear of depression and anxiety.
9. Fear of confusion. Proverb 3:3-6
10. Fear of the future. Matt. 6:34, 2 Cor. 12:9
    The Bible has solution to all the above fears. God promise us that He will supply all our need
    according to his riches in glory. The Lord says He will take away from you all sickness and
    will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known but will lay
    them on all those who hate you. God says He is the Holy one of Israel that could delivered us.
    God says to us “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid,
    neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whitherever thou go. He is our
    Shephard. Fear not!
    HOW TO TURN FEAR TO PERFECT PEACE?
11. Develop agape love for people around including for yourself, your family, children, and
    coworkers.
12. Be empowered by God. Daniel 11:32b says “But the who knows their God shall be strong
    and do exploit.
13. Have a sound mind.
    Are you here today struggling or facing one storm of life, I pray for perfect peace for such a person
    in the name of Jesus Christ – amen!
    In conclusion, we all know life isn’t fair, especially in a time when darkness and wickedness are
    eminent in all our societies. However, God is just and to experience perfect peace, you need to
    make Jesus Christ your only source of life. Without Jesus, there is no perfect peace. You might be
    going through one warfare of life or another. Perhaps you might have not experienced any peace
    since your inception, Jesus Christ the Prince of Peace is looking for you today. Maybe you are still
    chasing after the things of the world, you need to repent and come back to God today, tomorrow
    may be too late. Draw close to Him and He will draw close to you.
    As we step into the prophecy of this month of August 2023, walk hand in hand with God to
    experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. God is out there to bless you more
    than you can think or imagine. In this season of “Perfect Peace”, may the Lord God bless and
    keep you, and cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and lift His countenance
    upon you and give you peace in Jesus’ name – Amen! Welcome to the month of “Perfect Peace”.
